The EyeDropper API is supported in Chrome, Edge, and Opera. If your browser doesn't support it, the button will be disabled. You can still use the standard color picker.

Complementary colors are pairs of colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel. They create maximum contrast and visual interest when used together in design.

Shades are created by adjusting the lightness value in HSL color space. Lighter shades (tints) add white, while darker shades add black to the original color.
